My practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation. I represent people who have been injured in car accidents, other accidents (such as slip-and-falls), and assaults. I help people get fair compensation for their injuries, and make sure they have access to the insurance benefits to which they are entitled. Although my practice has always focused on personal injury claims, I started my career working for ICBC and other insurance companies. This experience provided me with insight into how insurance companies assess and defend claims, and how best to advance claims in order to maximize my clients’ recovery.
In addition to personal injury claims, I also have experience with a wide variety of civil litigation including commercial litigation, estate litigation, shareholder disputes, and civil fraud.
Community Involvement, Hobbies, and Personal Interests
I am a past board member of the Access Youth Services Society. Through our law firm, I support a variety of community organizations such as the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, the Coquitlam Express, the Port Moody Library Foundation, and a number of local schools and organizations.
